PIXEurope: Advancing Photonic Integrated Circuits
PIXEurope is a European pilot line dedicated to developing and industrializing advanced photonic integrated circuits (PICs). Led by ICFO in Barcelona, this initiative unites 20 partners from 11 countries, including Sweden, to enhance Europe’s leadership in photonics.
Focusing on cutting-edge technologies, PIXEurope accelerates the adoption of integrated photonics across industries such as telecommunications, AI, healthcare, and automotive. By bridging research and industry, the pilot line strengthens Europe’s position in the global photonics market.
