ENCCS webinar 28 april

In this webinar, the ENCCS Director, Karim Elgammal, will provide an overview of ENCCS and how they enable SMEs to leverage high-performance computing capabilities to accelerate their business targets. He will also share how the Swedish semiconductor ecosystem could benefit from accelerated computing capabilities offered by EuroHPC JU resources and how to tailor it to SME use cases. In addition, he will explain how current users leverage European supercomputers like LUMI, Leonardo, MareNostrum 5 and touch upon the value that the upcoming Swedish system Arrhenius is bringing.

About the speaker and ENCCS:

Karim Elgammal, Director of ENCCS, RISE Research Institutes of Sweden

Karim is the Director of ENCCS, the EuroHPC National Competence Centre Sweden. ENCCS leads national effort to empower SMEs and industry achieve their business targets by leveraging HPC and emerging technologies efficiently and effectively. His expertise spans HPC, scientific simulations, material informatics across industrial research and academia.  He holds a PhD in Physics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Industrial Economics and Management degree from BTH.
