The Swedish Chips Competence Centre invites startups, SMEs, researchers, universities, and industry stakeholders to participate in an upcoming webinar focused on the PIXEurope Pilot Line and the growing opportunities within integrated photonics.
This online event aims to increase awareness of the technologies, services, and support available through the PIXEurope Pilot Line, helping potential Swedish users better understand how they can engage with the initiative and benefit from its capabilities.
The webinar will provide an overview of the techniques currently offered by PIXEurope, as well as future developments planned throughout the project. Participants will also gain insights into the pilot line’s approach to user interaction and collaboration.
The session will feature a presentation by Marina Santana, who works on the coordination of the PIXEurope Pilot Line at ICFO in Barcelona and contributes to the PIXSpain Competence Centre, supporting the industrialisation of integrated photonics in Europe.
Marina Santana obtained her PhD in Chemistry from Newcastle University and has worked extensively in plasmonic nanomaterials, molecular spectroscopy, technology transfer, and innovation support for the photonics and quantum technologies ecosystem before joining ICFO as PIXEurope Project Manager in October 2025.
The webinar will conclude with an interactive Q&A session moderated by the Swedish Chips Competence Centre.
